It begins with a survey. Tell us where you are moving from and to, and roughly what is to come with you, and we will arrange a proper look at the property — in person or by video. From that we prepare a clear, written quotation, so that what is agreed is what is done.

Four, broadly: the family home, the estate or country house, business and institutional relocations, and specialist moves of art and antiques. Each is placed in the charge of a coordinator who sees it through from first survey to final placement.

We hold dedicated routes to Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria, and we move throughout Europe beyond those. Every international move is planned around the destination’s customs and access, and handled end to end.

That depends on the route, the customs clearance and how the load is scheduled with others heading the same way. Rather than promise a figure we cannot keep, your written quotation sets out an estimated window for your move, and your coordinator keeps you informed throughout.

Yes — it is one of the four charges we are built for. Paintings, antiques, clocks, instruments and the pieces a valuation cannot replace are assessed at survey, crated to a bespoke standard, and carried with the particular care they require.

We do. Moves rarely align perfectly at both ends, so we hold goods in clean, secure storage for as long as needed — a short gap between completions or a longer wait while a home is made ready. Everything is inventoried in and out.

Appropriate goods-in-transit and liability cover applies to every move, and the options are set out plainly in your quotation and booking contract. Fragile, high-value and irreplaceable items are noted at survey so they are protected — and covered — to the right level.
